The Farmyard Nursery is a family owned and operated business, designed to provide city children with an opportunity to experience a glimpse into life on a country farm. Children will delight in meeting, feeding, touching and cuddling our friendly farm animals.

The Farmyard Nursery offers a venue where children can meet and learn about farm animals.  They can feed the animals, nurse chickens and bunnies and pat the lambs. Join in the fun as we bottle-feed lambs or kids – the goat variety! Peek into the hen house and look for the eggs. Meet Ellie and Sugar our miniature ponies and search for lizards and turtles and more.

A self-catering venue, the purpose built barn includes a Party Room complete with fridge, urn, microwave and a little oven. A gas BBQ is also available for you to use.
A country style veranda and grassed outdoor play area provide the perfect setting for your child’s party or excursion.

Only one party is booked per session, which gives you exclusive use of the barn and party room. Parties are usually held on a weekend and run from 10:00am – midday or 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

School excursions are held on week-days with a choice of the morning session 10:00am – 11:30am or the afternoon session 12:30pm – 2:00pm

Book early to avoid disappointment. Open by appointment only - Bookings are essential.
